Research

I am currently using mathematical tools from the emerging field known as network science to measure the structure that exists among phonological word-forms in the mental lexicon, employing behavioral tasks to examine how that global structure influences language-related processes (such as spoken word recognition and speech production), and using computational models to assess the ability of current psycholinguistic theories to account for these effects
