Anna is a second-year PhD student in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Kansas and laboratory manager for Dr. Nancy Hamilton’s Sleep and Health Lab. Her research interests include the effects of trauma on women’s health, specifically posttraumatic nightmares following sexual assault. Additionally, she is interested in perinatal and postnatal sleep. She is also deeply committed to social justice and activism, guided by the belief that the personal is political. She aims to integrate these values into her research and clinical work, advocating for holistic approaches to mental health that consider the complex intersections of identity, trauma, and well-being.
