Garrett works under mentorship of Dr. Nancy Hamilton in the Hamilton Sleep and Health Lab. He studies the relationships between sleep, emotion, and psychological disorders. He is particularly interested in investigating how sleep contributes to implicit and explicit emotion regulation to identify treatment targets for trauma-related disorders characterized by persistent dysregulation.
