Research Lab: Speech and Applied Neuroscience Lab
Nicole's research is focused on investigating underlying neural mechanisms involved in speech and language utilizing various neural recording techniques. Furthermore, Nicole is interested in improving access to Brain-Computer Interface technology for those with severe motor impairments. Additionally, her work emphasizes the importance of integrating patient and caregiver perspectives, ensuring her research remains relevant and accessible. Nicole is committed to translating theoretical insights into practical, life-altering interventions for people with complex communication needs.
