Biography —

I am a 3rd year PhD student in Clinical Health Psychology and the research coordinator for Dr. Hamilton’s Sleep and Health Lab at the University of Kansas. My research interests broadly are exploring the effects of trauma on women’s health. I believe it is necessary to keep in mind social, political, and historical events which influence humans— in both theoretical frameworks and clinical practice. Additionally, I am pursuing a graduate certificate in Public Policy. Given that and my previous experience in advocacy and nonprofits, I am pursuing a career at the intersection of public policy and mental and physical health.
