Biography —

I am a fourth year Ph.D. student in the Social Psychology program at KU. Currently, I am studying how identity formation and change influences membership recruitment and maintenance in social movements. My master thesis focused on how the stereotypes and prototypes of environmentalists and environmental activists impact pro-environmental behaviors. More broadly, my research interests focuses on social cognition, stereotyping, group dynamics, environmentalism, and feminism. As an undergraduate, I researched alcoholism, acculturative stress, and future-thinking constructs (i.e., hope and prostalgia).
