Research Lab: Stereotyping and Social Judgment Lab
I am a first year student in the social psychology program working with Dr. Monica Biernat in the Stereotyping and Social Judgment. My research is grounded in intersectionality, focusing on how minoritized groups across race, gender, sexuality, disability, and immigrant status perceive the social world. I examine (1) how intersectional invisibility shapes perceptions of queer Black and Latine people, and (2) how metaperceptions and dominant prototypes of Eurocentrism, heterosexism, and white femininity impact the well-being and behavior of marginalized groups. .
