Biography —
I am a Clinical Psychology PhD student at the University of Kansas, where I work in the Trauma and Reproductive Psychology (TARP) Lab. My research interests center on maternal and perinatal mental health, with a particular interest in how trauma and adversity shape the mental health and well-being of women and families across generations.
Before graduate school, I worked as a Research Coordinator and Patient Navigator in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Henry Ford Health, where I supported research focused on improving outcomes for pregnant and postpartum patients. Previously, I worked at Massachusetts General Hospital on the Prenatal Folic Acid and Adolescent Brain Development (PFAB) Study and the Longitudinal Study of Genetic Influences on Cognition (LOGIC), gaining experience in longitudinal research examining prenatal and early-life factors and their influence on child development.
I am passionate about understanding the factors that shape mental health across the perinatal period and using research to improve psychological care and outcomes for mothers and families.
